Initiated with an ambitious plan to support the Government of India's vision of making India a manufacturing hub, KCL is establishing a 1 Million tonne per Annum (MTPA) capacity Copper Plant. This monumental project, funded by a consortium of banks with an initial investment outlay of USD 1.2 billion, marks a significant milestone towards self-reliance in copper production. KCL is gearing up to commence production and contribute up to 50% of India's domestic copper demand.

We aim to establish the largest single-location custom smelter complex worldwide by 2030, setting new benchmarks in sustainability and efficiency within the copper industry.
